Tap the “–>|” icon and you can cycle to character, dialogue, parenthetical, etc. Once you’ve decided on your title and format you’re ready to write. That’s nice but the text file does lose the script formatting. You also have the option to email either a text file or PDF. But if you do forget, don’t worry, tap the “>” to the right and you can enable it. Don’t forget this step as it enables you to move your script idea back and forth to work on your desktop and back to your mobile device. Take special note on this page of the switch for syncing your script to the Celtx desktop. Once chosen, users are prompted to give the project a title and byline. Sadly, the Novel Template is not currently supported in the Celtx app as it is in the desktop version, making the writing of treatments, novels & short stories a dicey affair (not to mention articles). Then choose from Screenplay, Stageplay, Audio Visual, Audio play, or Comic. To start a new story, enter into the Celtx Script app and tap the “+” sign.
